Glasgow is easily accessible by train, air, and car. London is 4.5-5 hours via Virgin Rail west coast service (from Euston). Glasgow International Airport has nonstop and connecting services worldwide, including nonstop flights from Newark and Toronto; while Prestwick serves many destinations in Europe as well. Edinburgh International Airport is also a very short train ride away (Haymarket station is a 10 minute journey from the airport, then 45 minutes to Glasgow Queen Street). Prestwick and Edinburgh trains terminate in the city centre of Glasgow, while there is a very good bus from Glasgow International, or you can take a taxi for about £20.

Central Glasgow is easily walkable, with excellent bus service and an underground which offers a central loop for faster travel. Taxis are also easily found, and less expensive than many other major cities in the UK. We can also recommend ‘private hire’ car services.

Please email us if you would like travel advice, we would be happy to help.
